Clinical Research On The Treatment In Vascular Depression Of Guben Jieyu Decoction

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Guben Jieyu Decoction in the treatment of vascular depression and discuss its possible mechanism.Methods: 66 cases of patients with vascular depression were divided randomly into two groups.33 cases in the control group were given citalopram combined with general therapy.33 cases in the trial group were treated with Guben Jieyu Decoction based on the control group.The total course of treatment was followed 8 weeks.The change of TCM syndrome scores,HAMD scores,ADL scores and CRP contents were observed.Moreover,according to the scores of TCM syndrome and HAMD,the curative effect can be judged.Results:(1)In the course of clinical observation,6 cases were lost,60 cases were finally investigated,and 30 cases in each group.Before treatment,baseline data of the two groups were compared.There was no significant difference in gender,age,duration of disease,education,stroke events,vascular burden cumulative scores,MMSE scores,SAS scores,TCM syndrome scores,ADL scores and CRP contents(P(29)05.0).(2)The contrast of TCM syndrome scores after therapy: Compared with pretreatment,the scores of TCM syndrome decreased in both groups(P(27)05.0);as for comparison between the two groups,therapeutic effect of the trial group was improved more than that in the control group(P(27)05.0).(3)The contrast of HAMD scores after therapy: Compared with pretreatment,the scores of HAMD decreased in both groups(P(27)05.0);as for comparison between the two groups,therapeutic effect of the trial group was improved more than that in the control group(P(27)05.0).(4)The contrast of ADL scores after therapy: Compared with pretreatment,the scores of ADL increased in both groups(P(27)05.0);as for comparison between the two groups,scores of the trial group were improved more than that in the control group(P(27)05.0).(5)The contrast of CRP contents after therapy: Compared with pretreatment,the contents of CRP decreased in both groups(P(27)05.0);as for comparison between the two groups,contents of the trial group were reduced more than that in the control group(P(27)05.0).Conclusion:(1)The clinical effect of Guben Jieyu Decoction on vascular depression is reliable.It can significantly improve the clinical symptoms,depression and daily living ability of patients with vascular depression.The important treatment principle is strengthening vital qi,dissipating phlegm and blood stasis.(2)The therapeutic mechanism of Guben Jieyu Decoction may be related to the antagonism of inflammatory response.(3)The clinical application of Guben Jieyu Decoction is safe and has no obvious side-effect.
