In recent years,the application of 3D printing technology in the field of biomedicine has attracted more and more attentions.It has made rapid progress in manufacturing medical models,permanent implants,tissue engineering scaffolds,and biomimetic three-dimensional structures with biological functions.Full color,porous models,and degradable materials are the future directions for 3D printing in the biomedical field.Therefore,at the same time,functional biological 3D printing materials based on the application direction are also being actively developed.This article summarizes the application and development trends of 3D printing technology in the field of biomedical product molding processing,and proposes a new tourmaline functional composite material with good mechanical properties and processing performance that can release negative ions and have antibacterial properties.Lactic acid(PLA),polycaprolactone(PCL)and 10%PCL/PLA melt blended materials.This paper studied the effect of tourmaline powder content on the properties of the three composite materials and concluded that the optimum mass fraction of tourmaline powder added to the PLA,PCL,and PCL/PLA matrix should be considered in consideration of various performances.The results were 3%-5%,5%,and 5%,respectively.Using the independently developed melt differential 3D printing platform,the required process of tourmaline composite materials in 3D printing technology was discussed and parameters optimized.The effects of nozzle temperature(T),print speed(vp)and screw speed(vc)on the tensile strength and surface accuracy of the tourmaline composites during the molding process were studied.The orthogonal test,range analysis,and optimization experiments verify the combination of print parameters that best suits the three tourmaline composites.The research of this article has obtained a series of technological process and parameters from the preparation to the processing of tourmaline functional composite materials,which lays an experimental foundation for practical application of tourmaline functional composite materials in the 3D printing and forming processing direction.
