Purpose: To explore the relationship between TCM syndromes and treatment of snoring mian(adenoid hypertrophy)in children.Method: Selected cases of adenoid hypertrophy in the otolaryngology treatment area and outpatient clinics of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2014 to May 2017.The patient's age, gender, syndrome type, complications, and surgery were reviewed. The number of recurrences and treatment options for surgical treatment.Using Chi-square to test whether children's sleep syndrome is related to age and syndrome type, analyze the difference in recurrence frequency between surgical and non-surgical treatment of each syndrome, analyze the optimal treatment plan of each syndrome type, and use Logistic regression analysis to analyze children.Influencing factors of sleep depression treatment results. The software used SPSS 19.0,P <0.05 indicates that the difference was statistically significant,P ? 0.05 indicates no statistical significance.Result:A total of 211 cases of children's sleep(the first diagnosis of admission)were collected in this study.129 cases were male patients, accounting for 61.14% of the total number of children;82 cases of female children accounted for 38.86% of the total number of children. The correlation between traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type and gender of children's sleepiness was calculated. There was no significant difference between the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type and gender on the chi-square test by P=0.225>0.05.The children were divided into three age groups, including 137 children aged 1or older and less than 5 years of age;63 children greater than or equal to 5 years of age and less than 9 years of age;children aged 9 or older and less than 15 years of age 11 Cases,Chi-square test P=0.304>0.05,the results were not statistically significant.Adenoidal hypertrophy was accompanied by 11 complications such as children's sinusitis, secretory otitis media,acute-chronic tonsillitis, and tonsillar hypertrophy. The non-surgical treatment of adenoid hypertrophy in children compared the number of recurrence, the Chi-square test,P =0.002 <0.05,there is a significant difference.Surgical treatment of adenoid hypertrophy in children compared the number of recurrence, the chi-square test,P = 0.361> 0.05,no significant difference. The constituent ratios of the TCM syndromes of the surgical andnon-surgical regimens were tested. After chi-square test,P=0.000<0.05,there was a significant difference. After Logistic regression analysis, whether or not surgery was the influencing factor of the treatment outcome(P<0.05),the curative effect of children with sleeplessness surgery was 11.002 times that of non-surgical patients. Conclusion:According to statistics, the study found that there is no correlation between the type of Chinese medicine syndrome and the gender and age.Among 11 complications, the highest incidence of secretory otitis media was, followed by tonsillar hypertrophy and pediatric sinusitis. The non-surgical treatment of children with sleepiness had statistically significant differences in the number of relapses;there was no significant difference in the number of relapses during surgical treatment of children with sleepiness.Pulmonary wind-heat syndrome and lung-spleen-qi deficiency syndrome are suitable for non-surgical treatment.Blood-blood stasis syndrome is suitable for surgical treatment.Whether or not the operation is the influencing factor of the results of children's sleepiness, and age, gender, syndrome type, and whether there are complications are not the influencing factors of the therapeutic effect.
