The Construction And Empirical Study Of Nursing Information Competency Index System For Nurses

In this era of rapid informatization,the one having information will lead the future.The development of nursing information accelerates the evolution of nursing discipline in hospitals.In the "National Nursing Business Development Plan(2016-2020)",it is pointed out that we should vigorously promote the nursing informatization,consolidate the mobile medical equipment and other nursing application information systems,and improve the efficiency and quality of nursing services.As a hospital nursing administrator,the author will actively respond to the "Guidelines for Developing Nursing Business in China(2016-2020)",and will incorporate the task of vigorously developing professional team of nursing informatization into the three years planning of the hospital.To draw on the mature development model of professional information nurses in Taiwan,we invited external experts to carry out information training for two years,and built a hospital nursing information team,which had achieved initial success.To deepen the reform and build a nursing information competency index system,we developed and derived the training frameworks based on the evaluation to implement the training plans in a more scientific and reasonable way,to promote the development of medical and health information construction,and to provide references for other hospitals concerning the nurse information development.This paper describes the national needs for the development of nursing information;by taking Hospital A as the research object,introduces the current situation and development opportunities of hospital information construction;and introduces the competency model of nursing information based on the background of the times.Be referring to extensive literature and clarifying the connotation of nursing information competency,we initially establish a nursing information competency index system entries pool;build nursing information competency index system by using the Nominal Group Technique and Delphi methods;and thereby form the prototype of Nursing Information Competency Measurement Scale.We conduct preliminary surveys and carry out statistical analyses to the revise the scale.Based on the investigation and comprehensive analysis of the status of nursing information competence in Hospital A,and based on the competency model,we make out the countermeasures,training system and performance evaluation plan which conform to the characteristics of Hospital A development.Finally,we build the Nursing Information Competency Index System which has a guiding significance and putforward some countermeasures and suggestions according to the results of the empirical research.This study provides reference for other hospitals and provides a new perspective for related research.
