Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To explore the application value of 18F-AV-45 beta amyloid protein imaging agent and 18F-FDG glucose brain metabolism PET dual imaging in Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Methods:11 cases of AD patients and 13 healthy controls at the same period for 18F-FDG PET imaging, then randomly selected 8 AD patients and 8 healthy controls underwent 18F-AV-45 PET examination by using the technology of region of interest(ROI),analysis 18F-AV-45 PET and 18F-FDG analysis of the image characteristics of PET imaging, compare the two groups of bilateral frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, posterior cingulate gyrus, occipital lobe, basal ganglia and cerebellum of FDG and AV-45 standardized value uptake(SUV)and cerebellum FDG and taken AV-45 SUV ratio, the difference between AV-45 PET and image characteristics of 18F-FDG PET imaging. The low metabolic degree of FDG in the frontal, temporal, parietal, and posterior cingulate gyrus of the AD group was analyzed with the Mini-mental State Examination(MMSE)score. Results:There was no significant difference in gender, age composition and education level between the AD group and the healthy control group(P>0.05),but the MMSE scale between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the healthy control group, the decrease of brain glucose metabolism in 18F-FDG PET imaging was mainly located in the bilateral frontal, parietal, temporal, posterior cingulate and anterior cinanus leaves in the AD PET imaging. In 18F-AV-45 PET imaging, there was significant difference in 18F-AV-45 uptake value between bilateral AD group and healthy control group(P<0.05),while AD group showed different degrees of retention of AV-45 in bilateral frontal lobe, parietal lobe and temporal lobe. Conclusion:MMSE is a valuable screening tool for identifying AD,which can better evaluate the severity of the disease in AD patients.Back to the other glucose metabolism significantly different degree of reduction of AD in patients with bilateral temporal lobe, bilateral precuneus and posterior cingulate, bilateral frontal and occipital lobes and reduce the level is limited, mainly in the severe and long duration of AD patients, and previous research results are basically the same,PET can change the objective evaluation of patients with AD cerebral glucose metabolism function.AV-45 amyloid protein imaging in AD patients is mainly located in bilateral frontal lobe, parietal lobe and temporal lobe, unaffected basal ganglia, which is basically consistent with the decrease of glucose metabolism. It can comprehensively and objectively evaluate the severity of AD patients.18F-AV-45 beta amyloid imaging agent combined with 18F-FDG glucose metabolism imaging PET dual imaging is of high value in the diagnosis and evaluation of the severity of AD disease.
