Objective To investigate the relationship between the prognosis and the relative factors in pediatric postoperative biliary atresia(BA)Methods To analysis the clinical data of 45 cases biliary atresia who were admitted from 2011 to 2016 in our hospital retrospectively, and to assess the effect of clinical diagnosis and treatment project and the relative factors influencing the prognosis of children with BA.Results Of 57 cases of children patients,22 cases of males,35 cases of females.Aged 1 to 4 months(the average of 2.24±1.18months),and the operation age was 51±38.36 days.(1)Of 57 cases of clinical classifications,4 cases of ? type,7 cases of ? type,46 cases of ? type. The jaundice subsided rate in a short period of time after the operation was 100.0%in ? type,71.1%i n ? type and 43.4%in ? type. There were statistical differences among the types on the jaundice subsided rate(P<0.05).(2)Of 57 cases of operation age,25 cases of less than 60 days and 32 cases of 60 days to 90 days. The jaundice subsided rate in a short period of time after the operation were 76%and 43.7%respectively.There were statistical differences among the different operation age(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the rate of liver function recovered well at different operation age(P<0.05).The operation age were smaller, the higher the jaundice subsided rate in a short period of time after the operation,as well as the higher the rate of liver function recovered well.(3)The incidence of cholangitis was 57.8%in 2 years after the surgery,That the postoperative jaundice subsided rate was 33.3%and the rate of liver function recovered well was 36.3%.While,the postoperative jaundice subsided rate was 79.1%in 24 cases without cholangitis and the rate of liver function recovered well was 75.0%.There were significant differences in the two groups(P<0.05).(4)We followed average 29.14±10.71 months. The two-year survival was 96.4%in 57 cases,2 cases of death. Conclusions There have obvious effects on the prognosis, such as clinical classifications, operation age, recovery of liver function, cholangitis and the severity and frequency of cholangitis. We prefer Kasai operation to treat biliary atresia.Early diagnosis, early surgical treatment is to prevent postoperative cholangitis and the key to improving the survival rate of biliary atresia.
