A Case Of Multiple Trichoepithelioma Treated With Skin Soft Tissue Expansion Of Frontal Areaand Literature Review

Object: Trichoepithelioma is a relatively rare skin benign tumor,clinically divided into two kinds of single and multiple.It often happens on the face and affects the appearance of the patient.At present,trichoepithelioma are mostly scattered cases reported and pathogenesis research at home and abroad.The literature on the treatment of trichoepithelioma is rare,especially reports of treatment of large areas of trichoepithelioma.This article through our hospital treatment of a multiple trichoepithelioma patients combined with literature to discuss the treatment of trichoepithelioma,in order to improve the surgeon's understanding of the treatment of trichoepithelioma.Method:Combining with one case of facial multiple trichoepithelioma treated in our hospital,the frontal facial skin soft tissue expansion was used to treat and review the relevant literature.Result:The patient's frontal facial trichoepithelioma was treated with frontal andfacial skin soft tissue expansion.The operation was successful.The facial multiple trichoepithelioma were greatly reduced after the operation,and the incision was free from infection,bleeding,incision and other conditions.After out-patient follow-up at the hospital for one year after discharge,linear scars and no scar hyperplasia were seen in the nasolabial furrows,mandibles,and nasal margins.The left side of the facial flap was slightly swollen and no recurrence was seen.Conclusion:Domestic and foreign scholars mostly use laser,radiofrequency ablation,drugs and surgical treatment for the treatment of trichoepithelioma.but they all have different degrees of residual,and the effect is not good.In our hospital,this patient was treated with frontal facial skin soft tissue expansion to treat multiple trichoepithelioma.The skin,color,and texture of the donor site after the operation were similar to those of the recipient area,and no new defects and severe scars were added to the donor site.The patient had no recurrence 1year after surgery and the surgical results were definite.It can be seen that skin and soft tissue expansion is an effective method for treating multiple trichoepithelioma.
