| Objective To discuss the curative effect of fixing volar marginal rim fractures with AO2.4mm LCP.Methods 22 patients of volar marginal rim fractures who accepted fixation with AO2.4mm LCP were abstracted from June 2014 to June 2016 from the department of orthopaedics in the People's Hospital of Liyang.Through outpatient follow-up,the indexes of 22 patients were evaluated,including radiographic parameters,the ROM of wrist joints,and Gartland-Werley functional score,observe the healing of incision,the infection around the plate,the reduction and healing of the fracture,and the condition of Internal fixationResults 22 cases of patients were followed for average 12 months,bone healing was achieved in all cases without complication of blood vessel and nerve,infection,reduction loss,dislocation of wrist joint,and internal fixation failure.Except for 1 cases of C3 type fracture,there was obvious traumatic arthritis and joint dysfunction 1 year after operation.The remaining 21 cases had no pain,and wrist flexion extension,forearm rotation range and grip strength reached 85% of the normal side wrist joints.According to Gartland&Werley Scores,there were 10 excellent cases,32 good and 14 fair,with an excellent to good rate of 81.8%.Conclusion AO2.4mm LCP internal fixation based on fracture typing can effectively fix fractures,reduce soft tissue complications and early functional exercise.This kind of operation method is thought to be a reliable and effective operation method. |
