Objective To explore the effect of monitoring the kidney function by kidney injury molecule-1(KIM-1)on early diagnosis of contrast induced nephropathy(CIN)underwent percu-taneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods From June 1,2017 to November 30,2017,in the second ward of Department of cardiology, the first people's Hospital of Jining,55 patients who underwent coronary angio-graphy(CAG)and percutaneous coronary intervention were collected. The blood samples were collected before the procedure within 24 h and at 24 th,48th after PCI,Scr levels were tested by automatic biochemical analyzer,KIM-1 levels were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).According to the diagnostic criteria of CIN,6 patients with CIN were diagnosed as CIN group and the 49 non CIN patients as no CIN group. Results In CIN group,KIM-1 levels increased in the patients significantly on the 24 th and 48 th hour when compared with the baseline and the control(P?0.05),but the 24 th level increased significantly compared with the 48th(P?0.05).In CIN group Scr levels increased significantly on the 48 th hour compared with the baseline(P?0.05),but not at the 24 th.In no CIN group,KIM-1 and Scr levels at different time points were compared with before the operation, the differences were not statistically significant. Conclusion To compare with Scr,KIM-1 is a better biomarker in terms of early testing and diagnosis of CIN.
