ObjectiveWe compared the levels of tumor marker CEA,CA199,CA724 and homocysteine in patients with gastric cancer, intestinal metaplasia and atypical hyperplasia, chronic gastritis and normal mucosa in gastric mucosa.Furthermore,we studied the expression levels of three tumor markers and homocysteine in patients with gastric cancer at different stages to explore the correlation between plasma homocysteine level and gastric cancer and its staging preliminarily.MethodWe selected 165 patients with gastric cancer admitted to the first affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from December 2015 to December 2016 as the study group, including 130 males and 35 females, all of whom were diagnosed with gastric cancer by digestive endoscopy, histopathological examination, and all were diagnosed for the first time, not have any antitumor treatment.then we divided them into 4 stages according to the seventh edition of American Joint Committee on Cancer(AJCC)staging criteria for gastric cancer.Among them 42 cases were selected into stage ?,45 with stage ?,54 with stage ?,and 24 with stage ?.60 patients with Intestinal metaplasia and atypical hyperplasia of gastric mucosa treated at the same time were selected as control group A.All cases were confirmed by digestive endoscopy and biopsy.60 patients with superficial gastritis and normal gastric mucosa were selected as control group B.All patients were examined by endoscopy in physical examination center of our hospital,All patients underwent endoscopy, indicating superficial gastritis or normal gastric mucosa.Checkout the levels of tumor marker CEA,CA199,CA724 and homocysteine(HCY)cysts in three groups, which we analyzed to explore the correlation between homocysteine level and gastric cancer with its staging. All datas were statistically analyzed by SPSS software 17.0.Results1.There was no significant difference in sex and age between study group and control group A and control group B,and between different stages of gastric cancer.2.Compared with control group A and control group B,the levels of tumor marker CEA,CA1999,CA724 in study group were significantly higher.Compared with control group B,the levels of tumor marker CEA,CA199,CA724 in group A were, but the difference was not statistically significant.3.Comparison between different stages of gastric carcinoma. The three tumor markers in stage IV were significantly higher than those in stage III,II and I.Compared with stage II and stage I,the 3 tumor markers in stage III were all significantly higher. And the differences of the comparisons of the above two groups all were significant statistically significant.Compared with stage I the 3 tumor markers in stage II were all higher, but the difference was not statistically significant.4.Compared with control group A and group B,the level of HCY in the study group was significantly higher, and the differences were statistically significant. While the defference of HCY between group A and group B was not statistically significant. The results were similar to those of the three groups of tumor markers.5.The level of HCY in stage IV was significantly higher than that in stage ?,?and I.the level of HCY in stage was significantly higher than that in group and ? ?group I.the level of HCY in stage ? was higher than that in stage I.The differences were all statistically significant. The results were similar to those of the three tumor markers.6.Introduc the levels of HCY,and the levels of HCY,sex, age, and the levels of HCY,sex, age into the Logistic regression equation respectively to build model one, two, three. The output results showed that HCY may be an independent risk factor of gastric cancer.Sex,the levels of CEA,CA199 and CA724 but age were related to the occurrence of gastric cancer.7.The correlation of the levels of CEA,CA1999,CA724 and HCY between the different stages of gastric carcinoma. The levels of three tumor markers and HCY were significantly correlated with the staging of gastric cancer.conclusion1.High HCY level was correlated with gastric carcinogenesis.2.Overall,the level of HCY increases with gastric cancer staging, and the degree of elevation was closely related to gastric cancer staging.3.HCY was expected to be an auxiliary diagnostic marker for gastric cancer...
