Objective The author diagnosed 90 cases of ulcerative colitis in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine in September 2015 November-2017,and analyzed the correlation between TCM Deficiency and excess syndrome and the characteristics of intestinal mucosa and histopathology. The relationship between the clinical distribution of TCM syndromes and the mucosal appearance and histopathological characteristics of colonoscopy is explored, providing a more objective and scientific basis for TCM syndrome differentiation. At the same time,it provides theoretical support for the diagnosis and treatment of microscopic differentiation of diseases under the macro syndrome of Chinese medicine combined with colonoscopy. It will provide a little support for clinical TCM treatment of ulcerative colitis in the future,so as to better serve the patients and achieve satisfactory results. Methods The clinical data of 90 cases(outpatient and hospitalized patients)of 90 cases(outpatient and hospitalized patients)were collected in our hospital(Anhui traditional Chinese medicine hospital)in September 2015 and November. All patients were collected from the clinical syndrome questionnaire of Department of ulcerative colitis established by departments. The data were collected and analyzed from the aspects of TCM Deficiency and excess syndrome, intestinal mucosal features and histopathology.Ulcerative colitis TCM syndromes research involved with the clinical symptoms, clinical manifestations, disease severity, disease duration, invasion, endoscopic mucosa like features and histological grade data were processed using Excel 2003 collection, and then import the SPSS19.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. Results Of the 90 patients with ulcerative colitis, about 82% of UC patients had a pathological manifestation of inflammatory cell infiltration. The large intestine damp heat syndrome showed hyperemia,edema,needle-like erosion, small ulcer and intestinal mucosa indicating a large number of pus secretions. The syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency and yang deficiency of spleen and kidney mainly belong to the symptom of this deficiency. The intestinal mucosa showed a persistent image, more granular mucosa uplift, bridge mucosa and intestinal mucosal folds shallow. In the ulcerative colitis patients, the dampness heat syndrome of large intestine is the highest in grade IV of Truelove-Richards classification. The syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency and Spleen Qi weakness were the highest in grade II and grade III.In patients with UC,the relationship between TCM Deficiency and excess syndrome and intestinal mucosal image grade is different. In the grading of ulcerative colitis, the grade I and grade II are mainly the large intestine dampness heat syndrome, while the third grade is the spleen deficiency and Dampness Retention syndrome. The other kinds of TCM syndromes have little difference between the intestinal mucosa scores. Conclusion There is a significant correlation between the classification of the endoscopic mucosal image, the pathological staging of the mucosal histopathology and the syndrome of deficiency and reality of traditional Chinese medicine.Electronic colonoscopy and tissues of ulcerative colitis and pathology manifestations can be used as the extension of inspection of TCM in clinical application, combining macro and micro,as medicine,as prescription as pesticide, and provide objective index for strong differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine.
