Objective: Alzheimer's disease(AD)is a neurodegenerative disease with characteristic pathological changes. It is the most common type of dementia. It occurs in the elderly. It is manifested as chronic progressive, comprehensive cognitive function and memory decline. With the increase of life span and the aging of population, the incidence of AD is increasing year by year. However, there is no critical breakthrough in the pathogenesis of AD.Therefore, the research of effective treatment has been a hot topic for researchers, but also a difficult point. At present,AD treatment is mainly symptomatic and may reduce the rate of progress of the disease, there is no development of a drug can treat or delay AD,and a number of recent large clinical drug research failures, facing many challenges, changing ideas, for the research of AD to early, early intervention, actively looking for preventive interventions to delay the onset and progression of the disease has become a hot spot in research. In recent years, with the vitamin D(Vit D)of the study, found that Vit D not only keep bones healthy on the regulation of the human skeletal calcium and phosphorus metabolism, excitatory neuromuscular transmission still plays an important role in the process,at the same time with human autoimmune diseases and cardiovascular disease are closely related. The results show that Vit D has a close relationship with cognitive dysfunction, and the lack of Vit D may be related to the decline of various forms of cognitive function, such as AD.However,it is not clear whether Vit D is insufficient or lack of connection with AD.This article carries out meta analysis on the clinical research of the relationship between Vit D content and AD in AD patients,so as to systematically evaluate the relationship between Vit D and AD,and provide a new strategic target for the prevention or treatment of AD in the future. Methods: The application of computer retrieval at home and abroad of the database, according to the limited during the retrieval of word retrieval from January 1989 to December 2017 published in English on the comparative study of Vit D and AD related to the high quality cases, according to the screening standards to eliminate the retrieved documents, extracting relevant data, the analysis on the included literature Meta Stata12.0 statistical software and calculate the standard mean difference(SMD)and 95% confidence interval(95%CI),Vit D and AD correlation evaluation. Results: According to the established standard,10 articles were included in the final analysis of Meta. Results showed that P<0.001,SMD=-0.77,95% CI(-0.88,-0.65)showed that serum Vit D level in AD patients was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant. The results of the subgroup analysis, the European Merger results for SMD=-0.31,95% CI(-0.47,-0.15),the difference was statistically significant;in Asia with the results of SMD=-3.38,95% CI(-3.68,-3.08),the difference was statistically significant;America with results for SMD=-0.25,95% CI(-0.46,-0.03),the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: The incidence and severity of low serum Vit D content and AD development may have relevance;detection of Vit D in serum of patients with AD may be early warning biomarkers;supplement of exogenous Vit D may prevent the onset of AD;supplement of exogenous Vit D may be one of the methods for the treatment of AD.
