Marine microorganisms are important sources for the discovery of new drugs and lead compounds.Aspergillus terreus can produce a variety of secondary metabolites with antibacterial,anti-inflammatory and other biological activities.Owing to the novelty and variety of structure skeletons,it has been widely concerned by researchers.Aspergillus terreus Y10 obtained from Hainan coastal sediment, has a good anti-inflammatory activity. This paper focuses on its secondary metabolites. The fermentation of A.terreus was extracted with ethyl acetate, and isolated by using silica gel,ODS column chromatography and preparative HPLC,to obtain 15 compounds.Their structures were identified as:butyrolactone Ⅱ(1),benzenemethanol(2),butyrolactone Ⅳ(3),butyrolactone Ⅲ(4),butyrolactone IX(5),butanedione I(6),butanedione II(7),isobutyrolactone Ⅰ(8)3-hydroxy-5-[[4-hydroxy-3-(3-methyl-2-buten-1-yl),phenyl]methyl]-4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)2-(5H)-furanone(9),(2,5-dihydro-4-hydroxy-2-[[4-hydroxy-3-(3-methyl-2-butenyI)phenyl]methyl]-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-5-oxo-2-furancarboxylic acid(10),butanedione Ⅲ(11),butyrolactone I(12),1H-indol-3-formaldehyde(13),p-hydroxybenzoic acid(14),and 3,4-dihydroxy benzoic acid(15).Compounds 6,7,8,and 11 are newly isolated.Biological activity study revealed that the isolated compounds had inhibitory effect on microglia activation. In this study,15 compounds were isolated from the fermentation extracts from marine fungus A.terreus Y10,including 4 new compounds, preliminary activity evaluation results showed that 2 compounds have good effect on activation of microglia.
