Objective:By the method of Retrospective study,to observe the CTA changes of cervical vessels,to observe the nature of the vascular lesions the extent of the lesions in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy.Materials and methods:Retrospective study was conducted in a total of 46 cases received radiotherapy treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma for 3 years and more duration and performed head and neck CTA examination.Using the 1:1 matching design method,a total of 46 cases who were diagnosed as NPC but not treated with radiotherapy were selected as control group.Cervical vascular lesions were observed, degree of extent of vascular lesion was observed, statistical analysis of the relationship between the cervical vascular lesions and the age,the end time after radiation therapy after NPC radiotherapy was compared.Result:In observation group cervical vascular lesion detection rate of 82.61%,ICA,CCA,VA,and ECA plaque formation detection rate were in the order of 73.91%,56.52%,26.09%,and 13.04%,ICA,VA CCA and ECA stenosis detection rate were in the order of 56.52%,41.30%,28.26%and 17.39%,carotid artery aneurysm detection rate was 15.22%.The detection rates of cervical vascular lesions in the control group were lower than those in the observation group.Neck vascular lesion detection rate is 93.55%at the age is more than or equal to 52 years old and is 92.31%duration of radiotherapy is more than or equal to 5 years after NPC radiotherapy.Conclusion:1.The detection rate of cervical vascular lesions after NPC radiotherapy is high, which suggests that radiotherapy may be an important cause of cervical vascular diseases.2.NPC after radiotherapy, the vascular plaque, stenosis and artery aneurysm were the highest in ICA,the detection rate wae 56.52%,73.91%and 13.04%respectively.3.The age and the duration of radiotherapy were the risk factors of cervical vascular disease after NPC radiotherapy, and the higher the age,the longer the duration radiotherapy, the higher the incidence of carotid artery disease after NPC.
