Objective: Because of the biofilm effects of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the clinical treatment is very difficult, and the curative effect is not satisfied. In recent years, with the progress of experimental research, people's understanding of the biofilm of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is more and more thorough, effective treatment is also more and more. This experiment will use ootheca mantidis as test material to study its inhibitory effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa by different methods and provide theoretical evidence for the research, development and clinical application of ootheca mantidis. Methods: The tested strains were inoculated on LB culture plate, and the biofilm positive strains were detected.Clearance effect of Lipid extract from ootheca mantidis and antibiotics on biomembrane effects of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were observed through Kindy-Bauer method, minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC)method, crystal violet staining of biofilm,Laser confocal fluorescence microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.Result: In antibiotics control group the drug had no obvious inhibition effect on the forming of biofilm,on the contrary lipid extract from ootheca mantidis had more obvious inhibitory effect on the forming of biofilm, the adhesion of bacteria have more obvious effect and had more obvious killing effect on the adhesive bacteria. Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine ootheca mantidis has inhibitory effect on the bacteria at the same time also shows good interference to the formation of bacterial biofilm. This advantage is constantly increasing with the wide use of antibiotics, bacterial resistance, the severity of the bacterial biofilm related infection. The development of medicinal value of ootheca mantidis will provide theoretical basis and basic data for improving the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in resolving bacterial drug resistance and promoting the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.
