Meridian Exploratory Study Based On Dynamic Threshold Segmentation And Contrast-enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Objective To explore a new method to show the meridian lines by MRI,and 3D reconstruction.Methods Firstly,meridian theoretical basis and MRI principle were studied retrospectively.Then,the meridian visualization ways were explored by experimental research.In experimental section,12 healthy adult volunteers,including 6 males and 6 females,were divided into three groups,as acupoint injection group,angiography group and lymphography group,each group 2 males and 2 females.For the acupoint injection group,Gadodiamide was injected into the right Neiguan after routine MRI scanning,then underwent right upper limb dynamic 3D scan;For the angiography group,Gadodiamide was injected into the left elbow venous after routine MRI scanning,then underwent right upper limb dynamic 3D scan;For the lymphography group,Gadodiamide was injected into the right refers to the web after routine MRI scanning,then underwent right upper limb dynamic 3D scan.For the above three groups,thresholds of all routine scanning 2D tomograph MRI images were set dynamically.With the threshold increasing,more and more defects appeared in the continuous skin images.Those defects were marked one by one,and 3D reconstruction.Lastly,for the above three groups,all images scanning after injecting Gadodiamide were 3D reconstructed.Results ? With the dynamic threshold segmentation,there were defects in all of 12 volunteers conventional scanning 2D image.Based on those defects,6 longitudinal circulation lines,which differed with the angiography group and the lymphography group in circulation areas,and which fit well with the traditional body meridian lines,were reconstructed successfully.?For acupoint injection group,all of 4 volunteers,a longitudinal linear follow line,which has obvious difference with angiography group and lymphography group in through areas,dynamic,morphology and three-dimensional positioning,and which fit well with the body surface projection of traditional Pericardium meridian,appeared after the injection of Gadodiamide.Conclusion Those lines,which were reconstructed in this study,may be related to the meridian follow lines.This study provided a new method for the meridian research and the objective evidence to reveal the essence of meridian.
