Advances In Surgical Treatment Of Adult Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome

Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)is a serious impact on the survival and health of patients with high risk,fatal sleep respiratory disease.In view of the prevalence of OSAHS and the resulting health related sequelae,a series of medical and surgical techniques have been developed and should be used in patients with different,but treatment technology has efficiency depends on the personal physiological anatomy and patient compliance.Since there is no single effective treatment for all OSAHS patients can be treated and obtain satisfactory results,so individual comprehensive treatment will be the direction of future OSAHS treatment.Although nasal continuous positive airway pressure(CPAP)treatment is the main method of individual comprehensive treatment,but many patients can not tolerate this treatment and require other alternative therapies.Surgical treatment is often necessary and useful in clinical situations.All airway anatomy resulting from abnormal upper airway structure load increase is obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea comprehensive sign of important pathogenic factors,so for different plane obstruction of upper airway reconstruction surgery to improve airway cross-sectional area at the same time,not only improve patients with snoring and sleep structure disorder clinical symptoms and reduce the incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease risk,so as to improve the clinical curative effect of the patients.In this paper,the recent progress of surgical treatment of adult OSAHS in domestic and overseas is introduced.
