Abstract/Summary:
ObjectiveTo determine the expression of serum 3-nitrotyrosine(3-NT)and nitric oxide(NO)in patients with obstructive sleep apnea(OSA)combined with hypertension,and explore the possible pathogenesis of chronic intermittent hypoxia induced hypertension,which can provide new therapeutic targets for the treatment of OSA combined hypertention.MethodsCollect 87 patients met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria from the our Sleep Monitoring Room,divided into 4 groups: control group(16 cases),simple OSA group(29cases),simple hypertension group(17 cases),OSA with hypertension group(25 cases).To extract the venous blood of the patient after the morning,the serum was collected after centrifugation,3-NT measured by ELISA method,chemiluminescence method to measure NO expression.Results(1)There was no significant difference in height,weight,waist hip ratio and neck circumference between OSA group,hypertension group,OSA with hypertension group and control group(P>0.05);(2)Compared with the control group,OSA group,hypertension group,OSA with hypertension group serum 3-NT increased significantly,serum NO levels were significantly lower,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the OSA group and the hypertension group,the serum 3-NT level in the OSA combined with hypertension group increased further,and the serum NO level decreasedfurther,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)The higher the severity of OSA,the higher the level of serum 3-NT,the less the levels of NO,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)AHI and the levels of 3-NT were positively correlated(r=0.524,P<0.001),but AHI and the levels of NO were negatively correlated(r=-0.873,P<0.001).Conclusion1.OSA and high blood pressure patients 3-NT levels is high,NO level is reduced,prompt nitration stress levels rise,and nitration stress level is closely related to the severity of OSA,prompt the nitration stress markers 3-NT,NO in the pathogenesis of OSA and hypertension have played a role;2.OSA combined hypertension patients have higher levels of 3-NT and lower level NO expression,and negatively correlated,prompt OSA combined hypertension has a higher level of nitration stress,the formation of nitrite in OSA combined hypertension disease process.
