Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of Protein-chip combined with PPD test(purified protein derivative)for pulmonary tuberculosis.Methods:A total of 157 patients who did teset of Protein-chip combined with PPD were selected and divided into pulmonary tuberculosis group and non-tuberculosis group.Retrospective analysis was performed to observe the sensitivity?specificity?agreement rate?Youden' index?positive likelihood ratio?negaitve likelihood ratio of this two test methods respectively.We also observe the sensitiity and specificity of Protein-chip combined with PPD,and evaluate the diagnostic value of two test methods in pulmonary tuberculosis.Results:The sensitivity?specificity?agreement rate?Youden' index?positive likelihood ratio?negaitve likelihood ratio of Protein-chip and PPD were 61.1%?85.9%?74.5%?0.47?4.33?0.45 and 33.3%?83.5%?60.5%?0.17?2.02?0.80 respectively.The corresponding sensitivity and specificity of Protein-chip associated with PPD test's parallel and serial test were 80.6%?74.1% and 13.9%?95.3% respectively.Conclusion:The diagnostic value of Protein-chip is superior to the PPD in pulmonary tuberculosis,their parallel test can improve diagnostic sensitivity,their serial test canimprove diagnostic specificity.Protein-chip combined with PPD is much superior to either one of them,which has a high clinical diagnostic value.
