Research Background:Gastrointestinal disorders are the prognostic factors of patients with severe,nutritional support treatment can be improved to a certain extent in patients with gastrointestinal function and nutritional status,but single enteral nutrition did not improve the outcome of patients with severe,so in 90 s the immune nutrition formula was widely used in clinic,but after 30 years of clinical studies that it cannot improve the prognosis of patients,associated with an increased risk of mortality,so to reduce the mortality rate of patients with severe work by adding nutrients in immune enteral nutrition in this method.The present studies have reported SHENLINGBAIZHU Powder improve intestinal disorders,nutritional status,enhance immunity,anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.Therefore,through the traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine combined with enteral nutrition and SHENLINGBAIZHU Powder treatment of critically ill patients,may improve the prognosis.Research Objective:The clinical study on the effect on the prognosis of critically ill patients of SHENLINGBAIZHU Powder combined with enteral nutrition,to evaluate the applied value of traditional Chinese medicine objective in critical care areas,but also for the treatment of critically ill patients to explore new ideas.Research Method:This project adopts the prospective,multicenter,parallel group,randomized,double-blind study method,in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and four sub centers.Will meet the criteria by the patient were randomly numbered envelopes in turn into the group,the treatment group and the control group were treated with standard enteral nutrition support the patients in the treatment group,treated with SHENLINGBAIZHU Powder,patients in control group were given placebo.The observation time of mechanical ventilation patients,the rate of new infections,the mortality rate of ICU,ICU and other indicators of hospitalization,using SPSS 19.0 software for statistical analysis of the data,to determine whether observed indicators were statistically significant.Research Results:This study included 53 patients,and 25 in treatment group,the control group of 26 people,with fall out of 2 cases.Two groups in age,sex ratio,APACHE? score,new infection and nutritional index constitute the difference index ratio was not statistically significant.The treatment group and the control group in the final outcome(mortality 4% VS 3.46%,P=0.96),APACHE? score(11.16±2.54 VS 11.08±2.34,P=0.90),ICU infection rate(16% VS 11.549%,P=0.42),ICU time(13.88±7.15 VS 12.35±7.82,P=0.47),mechanical ventilation time(8.68 ± 5.73 VS 8.72 ± 4.59,P=0.97)had no significant difference;but the treatment group in patients with pre albumin(182.24 ± 46.32 VS 136.66 ± 44.04,P<0.01)the nutrition index and the control group the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:Based on the current data,we believe that SHENLINGBAIZHU Powder combined with enteral nutrition on patients with severe outcome may have no obvious improvement,but can improve the nutritional status of critically ill patients.
