| Objective:Application of probiotics to meta-analysis of infection and related factors in patients after liver transplantation to arrive at new conclusions.Methods: The PUBMED,EMBASE,CNKI electronic journal database,Wanfang database and Vip database were searched for the articles about the effect of probiotics on the patients after liver transplantation;RevMan 5.3 was used to systematically analyze the data from the articles.Results:86 articles were retrieved,6 of which were included according to the inclusion criteria.The 6 literatures involved 345 patients who were divided into the probiotics group(173 cases)and the control group(172 cases).Meta analysis showed that the use of probiotics in preoperative bowel preparation could reduce the rate of postoperative infection compared with control group(OR=0.20,95%CI:0.11~0.37),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Patients who received probiotics also had shorter hospital stays(MD=?1.41,95%CI: ?1.97 to ?0.86)and duration of antibiotic use(MD=?4.32,95%CI: ?5.50 to ?3.13),as well as fewer gastrointestinal adverse reactions(OR=0.55,95%CI:0.32~0.96)than the controls;the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),The mortality of patients(OR=1.0,95%CI:0.18 to 5.51)had no significant difference(P>0.05),and probiotics had no effect on mortality after liver transplantation.Conclusion : Administration of probiotics before,or on the day of,liver transplantation reduces the rate of post-operative infection,the course of antibiotic use,the length of hospital stay and the gastrointestinal adverse reactions of the patients after liver transplantation. |
