| Objective:To investigate the MRI manifestations of fibrous soft tissue tumors so as to improve the level of diagnosis in this disease.Methods:MRI findings(size,edge,intratumoral signal,peritumoral edema,invasiveness,and special signs of tumor)of fibrous soft tissue tumors of 70 patients(20 cases in benign group,30 cases in intermediate group,20 cases in malignant group)were retrospective analyzed.ANOVA(analysis of variance)was used to analyze the size of three groups of tumors.The difference analysises of tumor margin,intratumoral signal,peritumoral edema,invasiveness,tumor necrosis and fasciocutaneous tail sign were carried out byχ~2 test.Results:Among the MRI manifestations,the malignant tumor is the largest,the second is the intermediate tumor,and the benign tumor is the smallest.The difference in the size of the tumor in the three groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).Peritumoral edema,cystic necrosis and fascia tail sign in malignant group are more common than those in the intermediate group and the benign group.The differences of peritumoral edema,cystonecrosis and fascia tail sign in the malignant group with the benign group and the middle group had statistical significances(p>0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the difference between the benign group and the middle group(p>0.05).The difference of tumor invasiveness between the benign group and the intermediate group and the malignant group was significant(p<0.05),but there was no statistical difference between the middle group and the malignant group(p>0.05).The differences between the other two items(edge and intratumoral signal)were not statistically significant in the three groups of lesions(p>0.05).In addition,the"root signs"were imaging features of the desmoid tumors.The“skin tail signs”and“fat tail signs"and“sub-nodules protruding signs”were imaging features of dermatfibrosarcoma protuberants.The“facia tail signs”were relative characteristic imaging apparances of myxoid fibrosarcomas.Conclusion:Comprehensive analysis of tumor size,invasiveness,peritumoral edema and relat ive special signs of tumors could improve the accuracy of preoperative qualitative diagnosis of fibrous soft tissue tumours. |
