Research Progress Of Keloid Treatment Which Combines Surgery With Radiotherapy

Keloid is a common skin benign tumor which could impair appearance and cause pain,itch and other symptoms even mental damage.The pathogenesis of keloid is complicated.Treatments of keloid varies.Familiar ones are surgery,tropical corticosteroid injection,pressure treatment,cryotherapy,radiotherapy,laser therapy.It's believed that multi-approaches combined treatment has a better efficacy than sole treatment.Among them,surgery combined with radiotherapy is considered the most efficient treatment especially for recurrent keloid.In order to have an insight into research progress of surgery-radiotherapy combined treatment,this review filtrated both domestic and foreign researches in last5 years and sum up.We hope to provide a reference to keloid treatment.
