Exosomes are nano-sized,bilayer lipid biological membrane-enclosed extracellular vesicles that contain materocyte-specific proteins,lipid,nucleic acid that can be released and taken up by most cell types.Exosomes can induce gene expression and functional changes via horizontal transfer of cargos between cells.With the continuous advancement of research techniques and methods,exosomes have been isolated from a variety of body fluids,including urine.More and more studies have found the application prospect of urinary exosomes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic kidney diseases.The main purpose of this article is to summarize the recent progress in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic kidney diseases in exosomes. |
