Along with the aging of the social population increase,the osteoporosis has increasingly become one of the major problems dangering to the health of old people,and vertebral compression fracture caused by osteoporosis has seriously affect the quality of the elderly life.In the eraly years,osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCF)most can only take the conservative treatment method,but the long-term lie in bed which brings a series of related complications is the huge threat to the life of old people.With the emergence of various biological materials brought by the rapid development of science and revolutionary changes in the treatment methods caused by the great progress of medicine,percutaneous vertebral plasty(PVP)for the treatment of OVCF sounded the horn of new,open a new chapter,because of small trauma,less patient pain and quickly relieveing patients' pain and so on,which absolute advantages rapidly around the world and is praised by the broad masses of medical workers and patients,therefore percutaneous vertebral plasty(PVP)and successive percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP)become the preferred method for the treatment of OVCF.The pain can be alleviated rapidly in patients undergoing vertebroplasty,which is closely related to the effective recovery of vertebral biomechanics.After vertebral injection of bone cement,the biomechanical changes of vertebral body can be evaluated by measuring the stiffness and strength of vertebral body.Through the research of many experts and scholars,the recovery of biomechanics is affected by the operation mode,the amount of bone cement injection,the distribution pattern of bone cement in the vertebral body and the different perfusion materials.In the vertebral plasty,the leakage of bone cement is the most common complication after the operation.For the moment,the classification of the leakage has not unified standard.If the bone cement effusing through the vertebral canal,spinal cord or nerve root may appear obvious and severe clinical symptoms,such as hemiplegia,whereas its clinical symptoms are not obvious.In addition to bone cement leakage,such as pulmonary embolism,adjacent vertebral body fractures and refractures of spines are also complications of vertebroplasty and postoperative complications,but compared with bone cement leakage,which are relatively rare.The injection method of bone cement,injection quantity,injection timing and the viscosity of bone cement also affect the extent of the bone cement leakage.This paper summarizes the wide research results of experts and scholars both at home and abroad in recent years,the comprehensive elaborated different factors on the vertebral plasty of biomechanics and the influence of the leakage rate,providing certain theoretical basis and reference for the majority of clinical medical workers.
