Recent years,studies have shown that the incidence of Helicobacter pylori infection in older people is higher than that of the young.The older people who use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,have functional dyspepsia or chronic atrophic gastritis hold the high prevalence of gastric cancer when compared with the young.Helicobacter pylori infection do more harmful to the old.However,the old have poor adherence to drugs,high rates of antibiotic resistance,more basic diseases,which lead to the reduction of the Helicobacter pylori's eradication.Therefore,optimize the right treatment to maximize the eradication,increase drug compliance,and reduce adverse drug reactions are of great importance.Then we will conclude the management of Helicobacter pylori of the old.
