Study On The Etiology Distribution And Diagnosis Strategy Of 102 Cases With FUO

Objective: The purpose of this study was to discusses the etiology and diagnostic strategy of FUO.Methods: The clinical data of 102 patients with FUO treated in our hospital from March 2016 to October 2017 were prospectively analyzed,if there were differences in the distribution of the cause of FUO patients with different sex,duration of fever,age and complications.Meanwhile,to assess the diagnosis rate,the time of diagnosis,the average hospitalization cost and so on.Results: A total of 102 patients were included.The most common cause of FUO were infectious diseases,the major diseases were urinary tract infections;Connective tissue disease in 10 cases,vasculitis was the main form;neoplasms in 5 cases,with lymphoma most commonly seen;other diseases in12 cases,the most common causal disease was histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis;no definite diagnosis diseases in 15 cases.87 patients were confirmed,the diagnosis rate was 85.3%,with an average diagnosis time of8.3 days and an average hospitalization cost of 14,900 yuan,compliance rate was 88.2%(90/102).There was no significant difference in the etiology distribution between different genders,duration of fever.The prevalence rate of infectious diseases in senile patients was higher than that in non-senile patients(P<0.05).The prevalence rate of non-infectious diseases in non-senile patients was higher than that in senile patients(P<0.05).The prevale-nce rate of non-infectious diseases patients without complications was higher than that with complications patients(P<0.05).Conclusion: The most common diseases of FUO are infectious diseases,with urinary tract infections most commonly seen,secondly are connective tissue disease and malignancy.Infectious diseases are more common in senileFUO patients.Non-infectious diseases are more common in non-senile and FUO patients without complications.The diagnosis rate of FUO diagnosis strategy is high,the diagnosis time is short,the average cost is low,the patient is compliant to the diagnosis strategy,and it can be used for further clinical promotion.
