Objective:To investigate the effect of different Ablation methods on quality of life and psychological state of patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)after ablation. Methods:Patients with atrial fibrillation treated with ablation admitted to the second Hospital of Hebei Medical University since January 2017,end of February 2018.According to the different ways of ablation, they were divided into radiofrequency ablation group and cryoablation group. The patient was asked to fill out SF-36(36-Item Short-Form Health Survey,SF-36)scale,self rating Anxiety Scale(self-rating anxiety scale,SAS)and self rating Depression Scale(self-rating,survey,SF-36)2 days before operation and 3 months after operation.Evaluating the quality of life and psychological status of patients before and after ablation, assessing the influence of different ablation methods on quality of life and psychological state of patients. Results:From January 2017 to February 2018,72 patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing radiofrequency ablation which admitted to the second Hospital of Hebei Medical University were enrolled in our study.37 males,35 females with an average age of 61.3±22.2 years,40 patients treated with radiofrequency ablation and 32 patients treated with cryoablation. After 3 months of follow-up,the quality of life and mental state of patients were significantly improved after ablation.Sf-36 score showed that, except for somatic pain, the scores of other dimensions were significantly improved.Mental state such as anxiety, depression and other negative emotions were decline, and the difference was statistically significant.Comparison between cryoablation group and radiofrequency ablation group. In the quality of life, all other aspects were different, except for emotional function and physical pain.Mental state such as anxiety, depression and other negative emotions were decline, and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.The quality of life(except physical pain)and psychological state of patients after radiofrequency ablation were improved.2.The quality of life(except physical pain)and psychological state of patients after cryoablation ablation were improved.3.Compared with radiofrequency ablation, the improvement of quality of life and psychological state of patients with cryoablation ablation is more significant than that of radiofrequency ablation.
