Bibliometric Analysis Of Burden Of Illness In China In During 2012-2016

Objective: To have bibliometric analysis on the status and development trend of overall and hot diseases in the field of disease burden in China during2012-2016.Methods: The Wanfang database was selected and CiteSpace 5.1 software,a visual document analysis tool,was used to do statistical analysis on the collected literature on 1 649 burden of diseases areas.The bibliometrics analysis of the field of burden of diseases was conducted based on the number of published articles,the cooperation between authors and authors of the articles,the cooperation network of organizations and institutions,and the changes of high-frequency keywords and hot topics.The bibliometrics analysis of the burden of disease burden on hot diseases was carried out to compare the publishing situation and the focus of attention in the field of disease burden of different diseases in 2012-2016.Results: A total of 1 649 articles on the burden of diseases were retrieved from 2012 to 2016,of which 1 491 were periodicals,158 were dissertations and329.8 were published annually.A total of 1 649 articles involved 1 821 authors.Among them,the top 5 authors who published the most articles were Zhou Maigeng,Li Yichong,Liu Shiwei,Bai Yana and Yin Peng,respectively with the published number were 39(2.37%),26(1.58%),24(1.46%),23(1.39%)and 21(1.27%)respectively.The top 3 of corresponding authors were Zhou Maigeng,Bai Yana and Yu Chuanhua,published 18,15,8 articles respectively.1 821 authors came from 407 research institutions or institutes accross the country.The top 3 research institutions or institutes issuing the highest number of articles published were China CDC,Lanzhou University and Capital Medical University,respectively,sending 59,25,23 papers,accounting for3.58%,1.52% and 1.39% of the total respectively.There were altogether 313 articles in the field of disease burden of malignant tumor,44,46,43,82,and98 articles respectively in 2012-2016,with an annual average of 62.6 articles,accounting for 12.90%,15.13%,14.73%,24.05% and 26.42% in the area of burden of disease."China Cancer" is the highest-volume journal with the highest burden of cancer.Hu Wenbin is the highest-rated author and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences is the highest-volume scientific research institute or institution responsible for the cancer burden.Lung cancer,breast cancer,liver cancer,colorectal cancer and esophageal cancer are the top five cancers that have been the most studied on the burden of cancer.Co-authorship of 111 articles on the burden of diseases of injuries and 51 articles on diabetes burden in 2012-2016.Conclusion: The number of Chinese literature published in the field of disease burden in China in 2012-2016 was relatively stable.Malignant tumors is in the first place of diseases in the field of disease burden,and children under5 years of age are the key research population in the field of disease burden.Mortality is the first indicator of the study of disease burden.From 2012 to2016,the amount of published Chinese literature on the burden of malignancy has increased year by year.The amount of Chinese literature published in the burden of diseases of injuries has been on a downward trend,and there is relatively little published Chinese literature on the burden of diabetes disease.The authors and the sending organizations have the characteristics of regional cooperation,but the inter-regional cooperation is relatively loose.We should strengthen cooperation in different regions and build a broader cooperation platform.
