Objective:To study whether intratracheal instillation of pulmonary surfactant(PS)combined with budesonide once only can preventing bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD)in very low birth weight(VLBW)infants. Methods: Selection 20 very low birth weight infants who required mechanical ventilation and PS treatment Within 6 hours after birth. They Were hospitalized in the First Neontal Department of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from June 2017 to February 2018.There were 20 cases in the intervention group(PS+budesonide,PS:curosurf 200mg/kg,budesonide 0.25 mg/kg),20 cases in the control group(PS,PS:curosurf 200mg/kg).Comparing extubation time, mechanical ventilation timeex, tubation, failure rateoxy, gen uptake time, hospitalization time, mortality, incidence of recent adverse events, the incidence of BPD andincidence of family oxygen therapy. Results:Compared with the control group,The time of extubation(4.37±3.74days)oxygen absorption(31.68 ± 9.92days),mechanical ventilation(18.42 ± 8.13days)and hospitalization(46.95 ± 12.10days)in the intervention group was obviously shortened. And The rate of extubation failure and the incidence of BPD was obviously decreased.Besides, the rate of mortality and the incidence of recent adverse reactions did not increase. Conclusions:For very low birth weight(VLBW)infants, early intratracheal injection of PS+ budesonide not only shortened the time of extubation, shortened the time of mechanical ventilation but also reduced the incidence of BPD and the length of hospitalization,Besides, the rate of mortality and the incidence of recent adverse reactions did not increase.
