Objective: To study the expression of angiotensin type 1 receptor(AT1-R)and angiotensin type 2 receptor(AT2-R)with immunohistochemical technique in the abdominal ectopic endometrium andnormal endometrium tissues, and to explore their significance in the abdominal wall endometriosis pathogenesis. Methods: The expression of AT1-R and AT2-R in 32 cases ofabdominal ectopic endometrium tissues were studied immunohistochemically(S-P method)and compared with that in 18 cases of normal endometrium tissues. Results: AT1-R was expressed with higher positive rate in abdominal ectopic endometrium tissues than that in normal endometrium tissues. The difference was significant(p< 0.05).AT1-R/AT2-R also showed significant difference(p< 0.05)within the two groups like AT1-R.The expression of AT2-R in abdominal ectopic endometrium tissues was significantiy lower than that in normal endometrium tissues(p< 0.05).The expression of AT1-R inabdominal ectopic endometrium tissues was closely related with the level of CA125(p< 0.05).Conclusion:Angiogenesis is important in the pathogenesis of abdominal wallendometriosis.AT1-R and AT2-R are both included in this process. |
