Objective:Objective to investigate the diagnostic value of ADC in the differential diagnosis of pituitary adenoma. Methods:We prospectively enrolled the MRI features(including DWI)and immunohistochemical characteristics of 28 cases with pathology proved pituitary adenoma, which were divided into high invasive potential adenoma(Ki-67?3%,14cases)and low invasive potential adenoma(Ki-67<3%,14 cases).T-test was used to analyze the difference between the two groups of ADC values. The Pearson correlation between Ki-67 and ADC was analyzed. Results:There was a moderate negative correlation between Ki-67 and ADC.The R value was 0.643.The average ADC value of pituitary macroadenoma in the high invasive potential group was significantly lower than that in the low invasive potential group(P < 0.005).Conclusion:ADC value has important value in differentiating pituitary adenoma from heterogeneity. It can predict the potential invasion of pituitary adenoma noninvasively before invading the pituitary adenoma and has the potential to be an imaging marker for evaluating the invasiveness of pituitary adenoma.
