Clinical Observation Of Rosuvastatin Combined With Probucol On Atherosclerosis

Objective:To discuss clinical observation of rosuvastatin combined with probucol on atherosclerosis.Methods:180 cases of coronary heart disease treated as research subjects were randomly divided into three groups:60 cases in combination group(rosuvastatin and probucol),60cases in rosuvastatin group and 60 cases in probucola group.All of them were treated for6 months.The treatment effects of three groups were evaluated by observating treatment efficiency,detecting of serum cholesterol,low density lipoprotein,and high density lipoprotein levels,and testing carotid intima-media thickness.Results:The efficiency of the combined group was both significantly higher than that of the rosuvastatin group and the probucola group(?~2=6.13,9.02,P<0.05).While there was no significant difference between therosuvastatin group and the probucola group(?~2=0.30,P>0.05).Before and after treatment,there were significant differences in serum cholesterol,high density lipoprotein,and low density lipoprotein in the combined group(t=2.25,3.82,4.50,P<0.05).In the rosuvastatin group,there were significant differences in serum cholesterol and high density lipoprotein levels before and after treatment(t=2.07,230,P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in low density lipoprotein level(t=1.78,P>0.05).In the probucol group,there were no significant differences in serum cholesterol and high density lipoprotein levels before and after treatment(t=1.72,1.57,P>0.05),but the low density lipoprotein level was significantly decreased after treatment(t=4.81,P<0.05).Carotid plaques were significantly reduced in the combined group and the probucol group(t=2.65,2.3,P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in rosuvastatin group(t=0.84,P<0.05).Conclusion:Rosuvastatin associated with probucol can effectively resist arteriosclerosis and reverse the plaque,and it is worthy of wide application in clinic.
