Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of symptom-limited cardiopulmonary exercise testing in quantitative assessment of Cardiopulmonary Function of Patient With coronary heart Disease After percutaneous coronary intervention. Methods:Quantitative assessment of 12 normal subjects and 12 patients who underwent PCI for treatment of coronary artery occlusion was held by CPET,the CPET parameters was interpreted by standardized analysis. The left ventricular ejection fraction was measured at the same time. The parameters of peak oxygen uptake、anaerobic threshold、peak oxygen pulse、oxygen uptake efficiency plateau、slope of linear regression of minute ventilation over carbon dioxide elimination 、lowest value of carbon dioxide ventilatory efficiency、work and exercise time were compared. The correlation between CPET parameters and LVEF was analyzed. Results:There were significant differences in left ventricular ejection fraction pre and post PCI(P<0.05).The values of CPET parameters in patients were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Peak oxygen uptake, anaerobic threshold, peak oxygen pulse, work and exercise time, were higher than those pre PCI(P<0.05).Significant linear correlation was found between the parameters and LVEF(the absolute value of r is 0.579 to 0.908,P<0.05).Conclusion:The CPET parameters of could be used as non-invasive method for quantitatively monitoring the change of cardiopulmonary function pre and post PCI.
