Effects Of Compound Rhubarb Powder On Rankl/opg In Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To observe the effects of Compound Rhubarb Powder on rheumatoid arthritis and its influence on RANKL and OPG.Methods:60 patients with RA were collected and divided randomly into the experimental group and the control group with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Methotrexate(l0mg/qw)and the experimental was treated with compound rhubarb powder combined with Methotrexate.Before and After one month's treatment,evaluating the visual analogue scale(VAS),detecting the leves of CRP,ESR,RF,CCP,while testing RANKL,OPG with ELISA.Results:The levels of CRP,ESR,RF,CCP and RANKL in the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),while the decrease of RANKL,CRP and ESR in the experimental group was better than that the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compound Rhubarb Powder Combined with methotrexate in the treatment of RA can effectively relieve joint pain,control joint inflammation,and reduce RANKL levels in serum,which can effectively delay the joint destruction of RA patients.
