Objective:To analyze the risk factors of readmission of neonates. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the infants treated from Oct.31st,2015 to Oct.31st,2016 in the Department of Neonatology of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. All infants were divided into two groups depending on times of admission. The clinical information between the two groups were compared. And risk factors of neonatal readmission were analyzed in this study. Results:Among 8900 infants,507 were in readmission group,and8393 were in non-readmission group. The results showed that respiratory disease was the most common cause of readmission??2=199.73,P<0.001?.Readmission was most common in May,August and July, and was the rarest in December. In univariate analysis, multiple births, gestational age of 2834 weeks, birth weight of 10001500g and birth weight of15002500g were associated with an increase in the incidence of readmission.Logistic regression analysis showed multiple births and gestational age smaller than 34 weeks were the independent risk factors for neonatal readmission?OR:1.87,95%CI:1.262.78?.Conclusion:The readmission of neonates was affected by multiple factors.Respiratory disease was the most common cause of readmission.Readmissions occurred most frequently in summer, multiple births and gestational age smaller than 34 weeks were the independent risk factors of neonatal readmission.
