Ovarian cancer is the most deadly gynecologic malignancy in the world today[1].At present,the standard treatment plan is surgery combined with platinum-based chemotherapy,but relapse and drug resistance are the key to treatment failure of ovarian cancer.Chemotherapy resistance is a process in which multiple levels,multiple factors,and multiple genes are involved.Chemotherapy resistance is not only the current research hotspot,but also the key to the breakthrough of ovarian cancer treatment.Previous studies have demonstrated that the reduction of effective drug concentration in cells,abnormal repair of DNA damage,inhibition of apoptotic pathways and chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer.Recent studies have shown that immune escape,tumor microenvironment,non-coding RNA,autophagy and other factors are also involved in ovarian cancer chemotherapy resistance.Exploring the mechanism of drug resistance in ovarian cancer cells,reducing ovarian cancer resistance,increasing chemosensitivity,and finding effective targets for reversing drug resistance are indispensable for inventing innovative drugs.
