Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound and real-time shear wave elastography(SWE)for soft tissue tumors. Methods: Forty-two patients with soft tissue mass underwent ultrasonography and were confirmed with pathology.Routine examination to understand the location of the tumor, shape, size, boundaries, and the surrounding tissue;Use color Doppler to observe the blood flow distribution inside and around the tumor;SWE examination was performed, and multiple sections were measured repeatedly to obtain the mean of the maximum elastic index(SWE-Max)of the lesion.SPSS21 software was used for statistical analysis of the differences between groups, with a test result of P<0.05.Draw the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve to get the best point of diagnosis of benign and malignant.Results:1 Of the 42 soft tissue tumors,35 were pathologically benign and 7 were malignant.2 There was no significant difference in the distribution of blood flow between benign and malignant soft tissue tumors(P>0.05),the difference of elasticity was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 The AUC of the SWE parameters(SWE-max)was 0.837.The optimal cut-off value SWE-max as 104.6 kPa achieved a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 77%,and the Youden index was the biggest. Conclusions: SWE of the elasticity index maximum is valuable in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant soft tissue tumors.
