At present, the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic prostate cancer has become a hot issue in the genitourinary field. In Asia, the incidence of prostate cancer is lower than in Europe and the United States.Metastasis is a major factor in the poor prognosis of prostate cancer. With the advancement of imaging diagnostic techniques, prolonged survival of patients caused by the improvement of tumor treatment levels and the importance of monitoring and follow-up of malignant tumors, the detection rate of “oligometastatic prostate cancer” has increased significantly in recent years.Oligometastatic tumors are a disease state between localized tumors and extensive metastases. The clinical significance of oligometastasis is that some patients can be cured by definitive treatment.Treatment of oligometastatic diseases can also reduce disease-related morbidity and reduce overall tumor burden. This review will assess the role of current systemic therapies, primary tumor therapy, and metastasis-directed therapy for the treatment of metastatic metastatic prostate cancer. |
