SBRT(stereotactic body radiotherapy)has become a recommended treatment option for the medical inoperable early stage non-small cell lung cancer. Many retrospective and prospective studies have shown the safety and effectiveness of SBRT.In some clinical trials, the local control rate and survival rate of SBRT are similar to surgery, and SBRT does less damaged to lung function in patients. The therapeutic dose of SBRT are different between central type and peripheral type of early stage non-small cell lung cancer. At present, immunotherapy has become one of the research hotspots in oncotherapies.SBRT combined with immunotherapy has received more and more attention in lung cancer. This paper briefly summarized the clinical practices and research progresses of SBRT in early stage non-small cell lung cancer.
