The Research Of DHEA And HFD?High-fat Diet?Induce PCOS Rats Model

Objective To investigate the effects of the PCOS rats model induced by DHEA and DHEA in associated with high-fat diet.Methods: 80 female S-D rats aged 3 weeks were divided into 3 groups randomly:control group(30 members),experiment group(30 members)and high-fat-diet(HFD)group(20 members).After the treatment of 8 weeks,the serum level of TESTO was determined.The pathological changes of the ovary were observed and the body weight of the rats were weighed each 3 days.Results: The serum level of TESTO in the experiment group and high-fat-diet group were higher than the control group.The experiment group and high-fat-diet group showed an increasing number of cystic follicles and a thicker theca cell together with the decreased layers of granulose cells.Compared with the experiment group,the changes above in the high-fat-diet group were more conspicuous.Conclusions: DHEA combined with high-fat diet can induce the typically PCOS rats model successfully.
