Objective: In this study,RCT-based meta-analysis was used to evaluate the efficacy of antifungal agents in preventing fungal infections in high-risk critically ill patients and to assess their impact on mortality,in order to provide evidence for clinical Strategy. Methods: Randomized controlled clinical trials of prophylaxis antifungal therapy in critically ill patients at high risks were searched in MEDLINE,Cochrane Library,EMBASE,SCIE,CBM,CNKI,VIP and Wan fang database. The retrieved documents were screened and evaluated for quality, and finally summarized in the research data.Stata 11.0 software was used for meta-analysis.Results: Six RCTs and a total of 958 patients were enrolled in ours study.Prophylaxis antifungal medications reduced the incidence of fungal infections(OR = 0.641,95%CI(0.437,0.939),p = 0.022 <0.05),but with no significant difference in mortality(OR = 0.946,95% CI 0.635,1.409),p = 0.785> 0.05).Conclusion: Prophylaxis antifungal therapy significantly reduces the incidence of fungal infections in critically ill patients at high risks,However there is no statistical difference in mortality, which does not reduce the mortality.
