Objective:To discuss the value of Urinary cyclophilin A in elderly(Age?60 years old)type 2 diabetic nephropathy patients as a novel makrker inearly diagnosis and predition progression of diabetic nephropathy.Subjects and methods:This study was conducted on 120 subjects, included elderly healthy subjects and elderly type 2 diabetic patients.According to the urine albumin excretion rate(UAEAR)of selected objects are divided into simple type 2 diabetes, early type 2 diabetic nephropathy, clinical type 2 diabetic nephropathy and healthy controls. To obtain urine and surum samples of studied objects, concentration of urine cyclophilin A(CypA)?serum levels of fasting glucose(FSG)?glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c%)?serum creatinine(Scr)?glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)?total cholesterol(TC)?triglyceride(TG)?low-density lipo protein(LDL-C)? urine routine?urinary creatinine(Ucr)?microalbumin(MA)were measured by ELISA and biochemical methods respectively. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS22.0.Univariate statistics are reported as meanąSD.We calculated t-test P for continuous variables. We also use other methods, such as spearman.P < 0.05 is considered statistically significant. Results:Compared with healthy controls, the level of Cyp A was increased significantly in Normal albuminuria group(P<0.05),and persisted increase with the high of urinary protein excretion rate(P < 0.01).Urinary Cyp A was significantly positively correlated with Scr(r=0.718),negatively correlated with e GFR(r=-0.802)and positively correlated with ACR(r= 0.640).Conclusions:Urinary CypA can be used as an early diagnostic index for patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy, and also has certain clinical value in predicting the progression of diabetic nephropathy.
