Objective: To analyze the correlation between the expression of peripheral blood total Ig G and its four subtypes in peripheral blood protein disulfide isomerase antibody(PDIAb)with the changes of thyroid function and the production of antithyroid peroxidase(TPOAb)and antithyroglobulin(Tg Ab)in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis(AIT).Methods:Recombinant PDIA3 protein was used as antigen. The titers of PDIAb total Ig G and its four subtypes in peripheral blood of patients with AIT group and non-AIT group were detected by ELISA method. The level of thyroid function,TPOAb and Tg Ab in AIT and non-AIT patients was detected by Roche E601 immunochemiluminescence instrument. The SPSS23.0 software was used to analyze whether there was any significant difference between the titers of PDIAb total Ig G and its four subtypes in AIT group and non AIT group and whether there was any significant correlation with the levels of thyroid function,TPOAb and Tg Ab.Results : 1)Compared with the non-AIT group, whether AIT patients with normal thyroid function or hypothyroidism, the titers of total Ig G and Ig G1,Ig G3 subtype of PDIAb in serum were significantly higher. But no significant differences in Ig G2 and Ig G4 subtypes.2)In patients with AIT,the expression of PDIAb Ig G1 in hypothyroidism group was negatively correlated with Tg Ab,and was positively correlated with TSH after eliminating the influence of Tg Ab and TPOAb.3)The PDIAb total Ig G and Ig G1,Ig G3 subtype take different cutoffs respectively, and the positive rates were higher in AIT group than in non-AIT group. Conclusion: PDI may be involved in the pathogenesis of AIT as a non-classical target antigen, and its real pathological significance needs further study.
