| Osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH)is a common orthopaedic disease with destructive,degenerative,and high disabled rates.There are kinds of treatment methods including core decompression,bone grafting,and artificial joint replacement.But their complexity,complications and failure rates drive our exploration of new and more effective treatments.With the development of stem cell and regenerative medicine,bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)are gradually being used to treat OFNH.It is a kind of stem cell that originates from mesodermal cells with multi-directional differentiation.Under certain conditions,it can differentiate into osteoblasts,adipocytes,cartilage and other cells and promote the formation of new blood vessels.However,it has been reported that there is no significant difference between the efficacy of stem cell implantation and core decompression.The main reason is the lack of bone scaffold material.Bio-oss is a kind of carbonate apatite crystal with good porosity,good histocompatibility,osteoinduction and obvious osteogenic properties.It is one kind of good scaffold material.Firstly,rat model of femoral head necrosis were established,BMSCs were isolated from rat femoral head and cultured,and then Bio-oss combined with BMSCs were implanted into the femoral head of the above-mentioned rats.Rat femoral head were detected by pathophysiological method after histology and X ray.It was showed that necrotic cells were found in the femoral head region of the control group,Neograft tissue in the transplantation group grew into the necrotic area,a sneak phenomenon appeared,The osteoblasts were closely arranged on the surface of the trabecular bone.This proves that transplantation therapy of Bio-oss combined with BMSCs has a significant effect.In summary,this study explored the effect of Bio-oss combined with BMSCs in promoting osteonecrosis of the femoral head necrosis and provided animal experimental basis for its clinical application in the treatment of ONFH. |
