Flavored Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction For The Treatment Of Cold Lumbar Disc Herniation Clinical Research

Objectives The clinical efficacy of this study was compared with that of Tongbi capsule in treating cold and wet lumbar disc herniation.By observing and analyzing changes in VAS score,JOA lower back pain score and TCM symptom quantification score before and after treatment.To investigate the effect of the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with the addition of Flavored Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction on the treatment of lumbar cold pain and cold limbs.To prove its effectiveness and safety in the treatment of the disease,provide an effective basis for the promotion of its clinical application.Methods Using clinical randomized controlled trials,60 cases of cold and wet lumbar intervertebral disc herniation that meet the diagnostic criteria of Chinese and Western medicine,According to the order of visits,the randomized number list was used to divide into two groups: 30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group.Treatment group will be given basic treatment plus Flavored Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction,The control group took basic therapy and Tongbi capsule,Four weeks for one session.Quantitative score of TCM symptoms before and after treatment,Visual Analogue Scale,JOA Lower Lumbago Pain Scale,Analysis using statistical software,The difference of efficacy between the two groups was obtained.Results 1 Visual Analogue Scale:Whether it is Flavored Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction,or tongbi capsule group.VAS scores were lower in both groups than before treatment.The treatment group was better than the control group.The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05),2 JOA Lower Lumbago Pain Scale:The total JOA score in both groups was significantly higher than before treatment.The results showed that the patients in both groups had different improvement in lumbar pain,clinical symptoms and daily life.It means both groups are effective.The treatment group was better than the control group.The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05)3 Chinese medicine symptom scale:In both groups,the TCM symptom scale was lower than before treatment,It means both groups are effective.the treatment group was better than the control group.The differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Flavored Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction and Tongbi Capsule,a Chinese patent medicine,can improve the patient's lumbar pain.Improving the quality of life.the former is better overall.In the course of clinical treatment,Flavored Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction.No adverse events.It has good clinical curative effect and application value,and is worth further research.
