Objectives:1)To investigate the effect of transcranial direct current stimulation on recovery of limb motor dysfunction in stroke patients.2)To investigate its effect on the recovery of brain function after stroke by blood oxygenation level-dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging. Methods:A total of 19 patients with limb motor dysfunction after stroke were randomly divided into tDCS group(9 cases)and control group(10 cases). All the patients received routine rehabilitation training, and group tDCS patients were also given anodic tDCS to stimulate the motor cortex area of the affected side. Before and after treatment,Fugl-Meyer motor function scores and Barthel index were used to evaluate the motor dysfunction of the patients, and the changes of brain function of the patients were observed by Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging.Results:1.The effect of tDCS on the limb motor function in patientsBefore treatment, there was no significant difference in gender, age, duration of disease, type of stroke,Fugl-Meyer motor function scores and Barthel index between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the Fugl-Meyer motor function scores and Barthel index of the two groups were improved compared to those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant.Among them, the improvement of Fugl-Meyer motor function scores and Barthel index in the tDCS treatment group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.The effect of tDCS on recovery of brain function in patientsThe fALFF values of Rs-fMRI in tDCS group and control group were improved before and after treatment, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:The anode tDCS stimulates motor cortex in the affected side of the brain can promoting the improvement of limb motor function after stroke, and its mechanism of brain function recovery still needs further study.
