Objective:By detecting the serum levels of advanced oxidation protein products(AOPP)and carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199)in patients with gastric cancer and healthy controls,it was initially discussed that:1.The feasibility of serum AOPP levels as the clinical auxiliary diagnostic index of gastric cancer;2.Whether there were differences in serum AOPP levels and CA199 levels between different T stages,N stages,M stages and clinical pathological stages, and whether they were related to clinical pathological stages respectively;3.Whether there was a difference in the auxiliary diagnostic efficacy of gastric cancer between the combined detection of serum AOPP levels and CA199 levels and a single index detection. Methods:From April 2017 to December 2017,76 patients who were diagnosed at the Mianyang Central Hospital by gastroscopic histopathological examination confirmed gastric cancer and received general surgery were selected as the study group,in the same period,50routine physical examinations at the physical examination center of Mianyang Central Hospital were selected as the control group, and the blood samples were collected from research objects of the two groups.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to measure the serum AOPP levels in subjects of the two groups, and the magnetic microparticle chemiluminescence method was used to measure CA199levels.Statistical analysis:1.The differences and significance of serum AOPP and CA199 levels between study group and normal control group,respectively;2.The differences and significance of serum AOPP and CA199 levels in different T stages,N stages,M stages, and clinical pathological stages, and their correlation with clinical pathological stages of gastric cancer,respectively;3.The receiver operating characteristics(ROC)curve was used to calculate the sensitivity, specificity, and area under the curve(AUC)for the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer.Results:1.The serum AOPP levels of patients with gastric cancer in the study group[M=64.41mmol/L(45.94~106.19)]were significantly higher than those in the normal control group[M=36.56mmol/L(30.51~42.91)],and the difference was statistically significant(p=0.000).The serum CA199 levels of gastric cancer patients in the study group[M=11.30u/ml(5.00~31.00)]were significantly higher than those in the normal control group[M=6.73U/ML(3.98~8.75)],and the difference was statistically significant(p=0.000).2.The Serum AOPP levels and CA199 levels were significantly different in different T stages,N stages,M stages, and clinical pathological stages(p=0.000),and serum AOPP levels were correlated with clinical pathological stages of gastric cancer(r_s=0.796),and there was a positive correlation between serum CA199 levels and clinical pathological stages of gastric cancer(r_s=0.683).3.The ROC curve showed that the sensitivity of AOPP in the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer was 69.7%,the specificity was 78.0%,and the area under the curve was0.809.The sensitivity of CA199 in the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer was 53.6%,the specificity was 69.2%,and the area under the curve was0.717.The sensitivity of AOPP and CA199 combined detection in the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer was 86.9%,the specificity was 84.3%,and the area under the curve was 0.912,which were significantly higher than the single detection of each index, and the difference was statistically significant(p=0.000).Conclusions:1.The serum AOPP levels were significantly higher in gastric cancer patients than those in the normal controls, suggesting that serum AOPP levels may be a serological marker for the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer.2.The levels of serum AOPP and CA199 in patients with gastric cancer were related to T stages,N stages, and M stages, respectively, and there was a positive correlation between them and clinical pathological staging of gastric cancer, suggesting that serum AOPP and CA199 levels may be biological indicators for estimating the progression, clinicopathological staging and prognosis of gastric cancer.3.Combined detection of serum AOPP levels and CA199 levels was more effective than a single indicator in the auxiliary diagnosis of gastric cancer.
