Objective:Testing the serum c-reactive protein(C-reactive protein,CRP)level and its gene polymorphism of Venous Thromboemlism(VTE)patients and comparing with control group,to reveals the occurrence, development mechanisms for Venous thromboembolism by the view of inflammation disorder. Methods : Testing the 190 patients diagnosed by VTE and 225 case control,s serum C-reactive protein(CRP),IL-Interleukelin(IL-1),interleukin 6(IL-6),Tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a),plasma fibrinogen(FIB),D-dimer(D-D),fibrinolytic enzyme original activator inhibitor 1(PAI-1),tissue type plasminogen activator,(t-PA)and prothrombin time, partial prothrombin time, international standard levels by ELISA.CRP gene rs1130864(t1444C/T),rs3093066 locus genotype and allele frequency polymorphism were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restrictive fragment length polymorphism.Logistic regression analysis was performed for VTE risk factors. Results:Compared to the control group,VTE group,s gender(P = 0.62),age(P = 0.53),alcoho usel(P = 0.06),red blood cell count(P = 0.08),platelet count(P = 0.84),creatinine(P = 0.61),total cholesterol(P = 0.32),low density lipoprotein(P = 0.79)levels was no statistically significant difference in general information.Compared with the control group,VTE group,s body mass index(P = 0.01),white blood cell count(P = 0.00),serum suppression C(P = 0.02),N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide,CRP(P = 0.00),prothrombin time(P =0.00),and partial prothrombin time(P = 0.02),FIB(P = 0.00),(P = 0.00),PAI-1 t-PA(P= 0.04),mean platelet volume(P = 0.03),international standard(P = 0.00),D-D(P =0.00),IL-1(P = 0.02),TNF-a(P = 0.03)levels higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.Compared with the control group,VTE group had lower hemoglobin count(P = 0.00)than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in IL-6(P = 0.22)between theVTE group and the control group.Compared with the control group, the CRP gene rs1130864(t1444C/T)and rs3093066 had no statistically significant difference in genotype and allele frequency.Logistic regression analysis of risk factors for VTE suggested that GT genotype at rs3093066 may be an independent protective factor for VTE(P=0.00,OR=0.22,95% CI: 0.07-0.68).There was no clear correlation between the other factors and the occurrence of VTE(P>0.05 or OR was close to 1).After adjusting for age,sex,smoking,BMI,CRP,IL-1,IL-6 and TNF-a levels,VTE multivariate logistic regression analysis suggested that the GG gene at rs1130864(t1444C/T)locus is a risk factor for VTE(P=0.02,OR=2.08,95% CI: 1.09-3.98).The GT genotype at rs3093066 locus may be a protective factor for VTE(P=0.00,OR=0.22,95% CI: 0.07-0.89).Conclusion :Inflammation and coagulation disorders may be the important factors of the development of VTE.CRP level and CRP gene polymorphism are closely related to the occurrence and development of VTE.
