Objective:To explore the changes of the time function metabolism after the movement of the back muscles of the lumbar spine, and to.reveal the changes in the shape, the level of oxygen and the movement of water molecules after the functional magnetic resonance imaging of the back muscles of the healthy adults, and provide the theoretical basis for the muscle exercise training of the healthy people and the rehabilitation training of the patients with the lumbar muscle strain. Methods:In this study,100 healthy adult volunteers were selected, including 48 male and 52 female,19?30 years old,the average age(23.8±2.3)years,and divided into four groups according to the different time points of 0,15,30,45 minutes after exercise, each of which were 25.Before exercise,it is defined as resting period.0 and 15 minutes after exercise are defined as movement period, and 30 and 45 minutes after exercise are defined as recovery period.Using PHILIPS Achieva 3.0T Tx magnetic resonance scanner, four groups of healthy volunteers were scanned by BOLD and T2-mapping respectively before and after exercise. In order to ensure the standardization of the movement and the consistency of the amount of movement, the whole process of movement is directed by a special person in the simple Rome stool. The scanned images were processed on the ADW4.4 image workstation of GE company, and the CSA,T2 and R2*values of each muscle before and after the movement of L3 and L4 were measured, and the pseudo color images of BOLD and T2-mapping were rebuilt.Statistical analysis of all data was carried out using SPSS24.0 statistical software. Results:The change trend of the total CSA of the extensor group and the CS A value of the extensor group at different levels of the dorsi at different time points before and after exercise showed a slow rise in the movement period and a rapid decline in the recovery period. The 15 and 45 minutes after exercise of the L3,L4 level of the muscle, the longest muscle before and after the exercise at different time points were increased in 15 and 45 minutes than before the exercise, and 30 minutes after the exercise was narrower than the 15 minutes after the exercise. There was no significant difference in left lateral fissure muscle,L3 level, right lateral fissure muscle,L3 and L4 level at L4 level,CSA before exercise and at different time after exercise. The total T2 value of the dorsal extensor group before and after exercise showed a slow rise in the exercise period and a rapid decline in the recovery period. The 0,15,and 45 minutes after exercise were higher than that before the exercise. The total T2 value of the dorsal extensor group at the upper edge of L4 before and after exercise at different time points was higher than that before exercise at 0,15 and 45 minutes, and 30 minutes after exercise was lower than that of 15 minutes after exercise. There was no significant difference in the total T2 value of L3 dorsal border muscles at different time points before and after exercise. The comparison of the T2 values between the L4 levels of bilateral parisor muscle, the longest muscle, the ilio costal muscle, the L3 level bilateral longest muscle, the ilio costal muscle, the right multi split muscle before and after the movement, showed a slow rise in the movement period and a rapid decline in the recovery period. There was no significant difference in T2 value between the left and right left myocutaneous muscles at different time points at L3 level. In male volunteers, there was no significant difference in the changes in the T2 value of the L3 level of bilateral parities, the L3 level of the longest bilateral muscle, the left ilio costal muscle at the level of L3 and the left ilio costal muscle at the L4 level in female volunteers. The R2*values of each muscle on the upper edge of L3 and L4 showed the same trend with time after exercise, that was,the R2*value decreased significantly 0 minutes after exercise, and the R2*value increased at 15,30 and 45 minutes after exercise than before and 0 minutes after exercise. There were significant differences in R2*values between different sexes and left and right sides. Conclusion:BOLD MRI and T2-mapping imaging can indirectly assess the changes of CSA,water metabolism and blood oxygen level in the back muscles of healthy adults after exercise. After exercise, the CSA and T2 values of the back muscles of the waist and back increased slowly in the period of movement, and the recovery period decreased rapidly;the R2*showed a rapid decline in the period of movement, and the recovery period was maintained.Different levels of lumbar vertebrae can affect the change of T2 value of the longest muscle after exercise. The left and right sides of the muscles can affect the change of T2 value of the longest muscle after exercise.Different gender can affect the trend of CSA after exercise.
